Sphere Fleet is headed by a race of huge, bipedal, and extremely greedy, hamsters. Sphere Fleet leans deep into lasers, as projectile weapons are considered a waste of resources. Due to their aggressive nature Sphere Fleet also employs the largest and most numerous lancer class vessels in the setting. Typical Sphere tactics involve charging into close range, firing the lasers, and then disengaging before turning for another pass. This is where the term Lancer originates.
